It's the insanity of over-priced Big Ticket items that are inflated in cost and deflated in value. It's the up sell on the up sell (on the up sell on the up sell ...)

And people go from one (broken) promise to the next. For years. Disempowered. Feeling even less capable of starting a home based business than when they first set out.

We become home based business addicts, a hard drive full of incomplete material, where the gold is well and truly buried. And we're blindsided by one glib home based business opportunity ad after another.

Yet, whilst the reality of starting an internet home based business is so much more banal than the ads that promise too much, the reality is infinitely more profitable (and achievable) ...

Behind the claims that you can make $15,785 in a week in a computer home based business is someone with a lot of skill, a product already prepared (or a team they can outsource to), experience with sales funnels, setting up (and running) affiliate programs, a strong network of joint venture partners, and a BIG list of their own.

OR - they had the deep pockets (and knowledge) to do media buys that quickly directed MASSIVE traffic to their home based business offers.

They KNEW the target market - inside and out - in their home based business. Therefore they could create successful advertising campaigns that converted their traffic into sales. AND they had the resources - the knowledge as well as the means - to split test their home based business campaigns to further maximize their results.

Joint ventures - this is one of my favorites. I bought a (not inexpensive) ebook on joint ventures once that really did promise you'd make a fair bit of money from it - quickly.
